Brésil à la Samaritaine Brings Brazilian Design, Fashion, and Art to Paris

exhibition · 2026-07-06

From July 3 through August 26, La Samaritaine in Paris hosts 'Brésil à la Samaritaine – Bold Summer Edition,' a pop-up celebrating Brazilian talent across fashion, design, art, beauty, gastronomy, and culture. Creative director Lucio Fonseca of LF Office Paris and Onélia Agency curate the event, which transforms the historic department store into a Brazilian-inspired destination. The installation draws on Brazilian modernism, referencing Oscar Niemeyer and Roberto Burle Marx, and is designed by Jessica Castelari and Atelier Glam. Collectible works by Fernanda Froes, Maritza Caneca, Lilian Malta, Pedro Yossef, Jay Boggo, and Maximiliano x Papelaria are featured. Fashion brands include Farm Rio and Água de Coco, with accessories by Lapima, Glorinha Paranaguá, Manolita, Missinclof, Vehr, La Sirene, and Venera. Beauty brands Granado, Phebo, and Viv Beauty contribute, alongside Insider, Dengo Chocolates, and The Coffee. Public programming includes a Running Club by Insider on July 5, an official opening on July 7 with chef Alessandra Montagne, and a Tiny Desk concert by Luisa Meirelles on July 16. An editorial campaign shot in Rio de Janeiro by Victor Pollak features models Pablo Akonne and Nicole Calina.
