Brazilian artist Amaro Abreu's global festival and biennale participation

Amaro Abreu, a São Paulo-based artist from Brazil, has showcased his work throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia. In 2015, he resided in Mexico and subsequently created art at festivals in Germany, France, and Spain. He undertook a residency in the Middle East in 2018, where he took part in the Cairo Biennale and painted at the Nahr al-Bared Palestinian refugee camp. Notably, in 2023, he was the sole Brazilian artist chosen for the Moscow Biennale. His artwork portrays an unfamiliar planet filled with landscapes, flora, and creatures that are intricately linked to nature.
