Branco-DelRio Arquitectos Completes 557 m² House Renovation in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal
Branco-DelRio Arquitectos has completed a residential renovation in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, finished in 2025 and covering 557 m². The project sits on a walled, densely wooded plot where mature vegetation shapes the site's character and creates a sense of interiority and privacy. Built on sloping terrain, the property is organized around a courtyard whose spatial structure and relationship to the topography were retained as the foundation of the design. João Branco and Paula del Río led coordination of the project, which falls under residential architecture and renovation. Frederico Martinho photographed the completed house. The project was curated by Susanna Moreira for publication, with a Portuguese-language original version available.
