Comedian Bouba (with a 'u') is set to premiere his first solo show, 'Neuf moi(s)', at the Point Virgule theater in Paris. The show, which explores his experiences during his wife's pregnancy, his childhood in a housing project torn between his mother's Christian faith and his father's Muslim culture, his acting career from 'Plus belle la vie' to cinema, and his cross-cultural marriage between Portugal and Senegal, ultimately finds his place as a father. Described as more than just a series of punchlines, the show is a humorous love story that reflects contemporary France's cultural diversity and aims to break down communitarian clichés.
