Boss Design Launches The Loop to Repair, Reuse and Recycle Furniture
Boss Design has unveiled The Loop, a service initiative focused on prolonging the lifespan of furniture rather than disposing of it in landfills. This framework comprises four key components: ReNew (repair and reupholstery), ReUse (relocating items), RePurpose (donations to programs like WastetoWonder), and ReCycle (separating materials for future applications). The Loop is open to accepting furniture from other brands, utilizing Boss's four decades of expertise in restoration. The company highlights its BioPUR foam, low-VOC materials, and sustainably sourced components to improve indoor air quality and minimize carbon footprints. The Loop also aligns with Plan Zero, offering architects environmental documentation for LEED, WELL v2, SKA, and BREEAM credits. Furthermore, Boss has launched the Lucy chair, designed for easy aesthetic modifications.
