BLOCO Arquitetos Completes Two-Phase Casa Lima in Brasília's Lago Sul

architecture-design · 2026-10-12

Designed by BLOCO Arquitetos in 2016, Casa Lima is a 750 m² residence in Lago Sul, a residential neighborhood of Brasília. Construction unfolded in two phases, with the first concluding in 2018 and the second in 2024. The project team was led by architects Daniel Mangabeira, Henrique Coutinho, and Matheus Seco. A core design premise placed all interior living spaces on a single level. As a result, the terrain's slight slope is perceptible only in the uncovered pool area, where the floor rises marginally above the lot's natural grade. Photographs were taken by Joana França, and the project was curated by Susanna Moreira. The house was categorized under 'Casas' (Houses).
