Bleed Through: Engelhardt and Bxtq at Galerie 35M2
Galerie 35M2 in Prague presents 'Bleed Through', a two-person exhibition curated by Zuzana-Markéta Macková, running from 13 May to 8 August 2026. The show pairs Anna Engelhardt's video installation 'Towards Dissolution', shot at a Sicilian oil refinery where Russian oil is processed for the European market, with Tina Bxtq's ceramic objects and a costume from her performance 'Postangelic'. Engelhardt's work documents the refinery's failure to fully erase the violence of extraction, while Bxtq's hybrid, disfigured forms explore bodily instability. The exhibition's title refers both to physical seepage and involuntary endurance. The compact gallery space in Prague 3 forces proximity to the works, reinforcing the theme of overflow. The show was produced by Stanislav Kubáň, with photography by František Svatoš.
