Björk Wears Mugler Collection She Inspired on Its Paris Debut Day While DJing in Poland

other · 2026-10-04

On the same day that Mugler debuted its newest collection in Paris, Björk showcased a piece from it during her DJ performance in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, where she concluded the Wędrujący Festiwal and inaugurated her exhibition, Björk: Ancestress, Sorrowful Soil & Nerve Bloom (remix). Styled by Edda Guðmundsdóttir, she donned a purple butterfly-patterned top, a black leather corseted skirt, and a feathered headpiece from Mugler’s spring 1997 collection, Les Insectes. Miguel Castro Freitas’ collection, Naturalia X, draws inspiration from nature with Art Nouveau designs. He acknowledged Björk’s essence as a source of inspiration. The event featured 32 screens displaying remixed visuals of her songs, with a soundtrack reimagined by Teho Teardo, created with her consent.
