Birmingham City University showcases refugee support centre and socially engaged interiors
Birmingham City University highlighted the creative output of its BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design program through a recent exhibition focused on innovative solutions for social and environmental challenges. Among the featured projects was 'Skills Without Borders’ by Asrar Amadi, envisioning a learning hub for migrants in a renovated bank. Other notable works included 'Re:source Hub' by Rosha Dabbagh, a sustainable café and brewery, and 'The Haven Club' by Poppy Hooper, designed to support women and children in distress. Jennifer Asker's 'Garden Within' presented a healing space for healthcare professionals, all guided by a team of dedicated tutors.
