BINI Becomes First Filipino Act to Perform at Coachella 2026

The eight-member Filipino girl group BINI made history at Coachella 2026 by becoming the first act from the Philippines to perform at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. Their performance took place in the Mojave Tent, a venue known for showcasing emerging talent, where they delivered a 10-song set. The setlist included the live debut of tracks "Blush" and "Bikini," along with fan favorite "Salamin, Salamin" and an extended version of their hit "Pantropiko." BINI paid tribute to their cultural heritage by wearing golden outfits adorned with salakots, traditional conical hats from the Philippines, before changing into matching bright teal ensembles. U.S.-based fans celebrated the occasion by bringing Philippine flags and wearing Filipino-inspired attire, while supporters rented a billboard on the I-10 highway leading to Indio, California, to promote the show. The group expressed gratitude on Instagram, stating, "We're beyond honored to represent the PH at #Coachella!" and thanking the audience in Filipino. Colombian singer Karol G also made history as the first Latina to headline the festival, performing on the Main Stage on Sunday night.
