Billard Leece Partnership Completes A$632 Million Campbelltown Hospital Stage 2 Redevelopment
On Dharawal Country in Ambarvale, southwest Sydney, Billard Leece Partnership has delivered the Campbelltown Hospital Stage 2 Redevelopment, a A$632 million project completed in 2023 that nearly doubles the existing hospital campus. The scheme adds a 12-storey clinical services building alongside extensive refurbishment works, forming an integrated health precinct intended to serve one of Australia's fastest-growing regions through a large-scale, community-centred model of care. Brett Boardman and Anson Smart photographed the project. Collaborating artists were Nicole Monks and Erica Seccombe, with landscape design by Ground Ink, construction by CPB Contractors, and structural and civil engineering by Enstruct Group. The project falls under the health architecture and hospital category.
