BilbaoArte closes 2025/26 with group exhibition and open studios

BilbaoArte Fundazioa wraps up its 2025/26 academic year with the exhibition 'Colección BA Artistas en residencia 2025/26 Nuevas adquisiciones,' set to open on June 19 at Sala URIBITARTE40. This showcase features works from twelve artists awarded Production Grants, contributing over thirty new pieces to the BA Collection. The exhibition spans various disciplines, delving into themes of memory, the body, domestic spaces, and boundaries. From June 22 to 24, Open Studios will highlight resident artists, including M. Benito Píriz and Manu Blázquez. A musical event is planned for June 23. In September 2026, eleven artists will start their residencies for the 2026-27 Production Grants, and the winner of the third BA Collection Curatorial Call will be revealed, with an exhibition running from November 2026 to February 2027. Admission is free.
