Bhoomija Creations' La Casa de Papel: A Coastal Retreat in Kerala

Bhoomija Creations has completed La Casa de Papel, a compact coastal house in Thrissur, Kerala, India, near Pappali Beach. Designed as a private retreat overlooking the Arabian Sea, the 93 m² project was curated by Miwa Negoro and led by architects Guruprasad Rane and Manasi Puliyappatta, with site coordination by Anagha P Sathyan and structural design by Er. Santosh. The house is situated between a fisherman's dwelling and a public road, with the sea opening in front. The design directly responds to these site conditions. Photographs by Prasanth Mohan and Running Studios document the project, which was completed in 2023. Materials and products include JAQUAR, Blender, BlueStar, Tapco Roof Tiles, Tata Structura, and indiaMART.
