Béton Brut and Isokon Launch Masur Birch Edition of Marcel Breuer Classics
Béton Brut, a design gallery in London, has teamed up with Isokon to give a fresh take on four furniture pieces by Marcel Breuer, crafted from rare masur birch. This limited-edition collection, named the Masur Edition, will debut during the London Design Festival in 2026, coinciding with the 90th anniversary of Breuer's original designs from the 1930s. The exhibition will be held at Béton Brut's showroom in east London from September 12 to 20, 2026. Featured items include the Cut-Out Armchair, Cut-Out Chair, Isokon Nesting Tables, and Isokon Dining Table, all originally created in 1936. Prices commence at £1,300 and are available exclusively through the gallery, made to order with a lead time of 10 to 12 weeks. Photography by Ben Anders.
