Betina Samaia Installs Mirror Photography Work 'Outro Lado' in São Paulo's Parque Trianon
Starting on September 26, Parque Tenente Siqueira Campos, also known as Parque Trianon, will feature Outro Lado, a new installation by artist Betina Samaia, curated by Marcello Dantas. This complimentary exhibition transforms a fragment of Mata Atlântica in São Paulo into an engaging environment filled with mirrors and photographs nestled among the trees. These mirrors capture reflections of the flora, light, and visitors, creating a lively tableau shaped by the surroundings. Samaia's exploration commenced during the pandemic in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. The installation, highlighting the relationship between the forest, photography, and reflection, will remain accessible until December 20, with free entry every day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the opening event at 10 a.m. on September 26.
