Bertozzi & Casoni Ceramics Invade Milan's Museo Bagatti Valsecchi in 'Eterne e fragili presenze'

exhibition · 2026-09-18

At Milan's Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, the exhibition 'Eterne e fragili presenze,' curated by Alberto Mattia Martini in collaboration with Galleria Giovanni Bonelli, showcases over thirty ceramic pieces by Bertozzi & Casoni. Approximately ten of these works are specifically designed for the site, harmoniously placed among historical furnishings. The duo, Giampaolo Bertozzi and Stefano Dal Monte Casoni, established their partnership in 1980, but Casoni passed away in 2023. This exhibition creatively merges the museum's existing collection with contemporary pieces. Notable works include 'Enigma' (2026) on an antique table, 'Grottesca' (2013) featuring a gorilla's head, and 'Cuccia brillo con setter inglese' (2018) designed as a doghouse. The exhibit will be open until 25 October 2026 at Via Gesù 5, Milan.
