Berlin Art Week 2026: A Guide to Must-See Exhibitions
Berlin Art Week 2026 is scheduled from September 9 to 13, showcasing more than 120 galleries, museums, and project spaces. The Gropius Bau will host 'Kreuzberg: Art and Migration since 1960', curated by Gürsoy Doğtaş and Patrizia Dander. From September 11, 2026, to February 7, 2027, the Berlin Museum will feature 'Divided Lives: Art and Migration in Berlin'. Jeewi Lee is awarded the 2026 GASAG Art Prize. At SLEEK Art Space, Thomas Kretschmann will display his photography. The Italian Embassy will exhibit Caravaggio's 'Mary Magdalene in Ecstasy'. Gabriella Furno and Alvin William Collantes will be at Schattenlos Atelier. Sprüth Magers will present Walter Dahn’s first exhibition posthumously since 2024. Maurizio Cattelan's 'NIGHT' is at the Neue Nationalgalerie. Projects by Chicks on Speed and Bonnie Camplin Archive will be at Arminius Markthalle. The Berliner Ensemble and Gemäldegalerie collaborate on 'Alternde Meister'. SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA will activate 'Under the Table'.
