Benni Bosetto's "The Ballad of the Blue Kind" Opens Across IED Firenze and Palazzo Strozzi's Strozzina

Benni Bosetto, born in Merate in 1987, will showcase The Ballad of the Blue Kind from 22 October to 23 December 2026 at the former Teatro dell'Oriuolo of IED Firenze. Performances at Strozzina, Palazzo Strozzi, are scheduled for 22 and 23 October. This project introduces five characters drawn from literary, artistic, and cinematic influences, delving into themes of solitude through music, drawings, and set designs. At Strozzina, these characters share songs that weave together their personal stories into a collective narrative. A significant installation at IED will turn drawings into an immersive space. The exhibition is curated by Daria Filardo and Martino Margheri and involves the 2025-2026 Curatorial Practice master's class, stemming from a partnership that began in 2021.
