Belvedere 21 Launches Family Workshop Series 'Hallo Werkraum!'

The Belvedere 21 museum in Vienna has announced a new family-oriented workshop series titled 'Hallo Werkraum!', designed to engage children and adults in hands-on artistic activities. The workshops, scheduled from August 28, 2026, to February 28, 2027, offer participants the chance to explore various techniques such as printmaking, paper cutting, and plaster sculpture. Sessions are held on Sundays from 15:00 to 17:00 at the museum's location at Arsenalstraße 1, 1030 Wien. The program aims to provide a personal experimentation space where families can learn about different artistic methods while also touring the exhibitions to see how artists have used colors and materials. The workshop fee is €6 for children and adults, with a reduced rate of €4 for children with a wienXtra card, and free admission for adults with a Kulturpass. Additional sessions are scheduled for September 19 and 20, focusing on collage, and the workshops are also offered at the Upper Belvedere. The initiative reflects the museum's commitment to making contemporary art accessible to younger audiences and fostering creativity through interactive learning.
