Bartlett School of Architecture showcases Polish embassy proposal and other student projects

The Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London has presented a range of student projects, including a proposal for a new Polish embassy in Chicago. The embassy, designed by Matek Zwijacz, is located along the Kennedy Expressway and is intended to serve as both a diplomatic institution and a civic centre for the Polish diaspora, with the capacity to transform into a temporary seat of government during crises. Other featured projects include a London-based Latin American media agency for migrant communities by Sergio Lopez, a centre for trimaran fishermen on Nkombo island in Rwanda by Adam Bigas, and a civic mobility hub for Bath Spa Station by Archie Koe. The projects span various courses including Architecture BSc, MArch, MSci, and MEng, and were tutored by faculty such as Farlie Reynolds, Chee-Kit Lai, and others. The work was part of the school's annual Summer Show, which highlights radical design thinking and architectural imagination.
