architecture-design · 2026-05-23

Barde vanVoltt, in collaboration with local firm Arquipartners, has completed Estero Residences and Gamba Café in the historic center of San José del Cabo, Mexico. The 1,000-square-meter boutique mixed-use project, developed by Oeste Works, comprises six residences, a café, retail spaces, and shared amenities. Curated by Valentina Díaz, the design explores how contemporary architecture can foster community while responding to the climate, culture, and evolving character of Baja California Sur. The project was completed in 2025 and photographed by Zaickz Moz. Suppliers include Nuumbra Estudio.
