Bard MFA's 2027 Thesis Exhibition 'Reassembly' Opens at Massena Campus

Bard College's Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts is presenting 'Reassembly: the Class of 2027 Thesis Exhibition,' featuring the culminating works of 28 MFA students across six disciplines: Moving Image, Music/Sound, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Writing. This event is set in two venues: Bard's main campus in Annendale-on-Hudson, NY, and the new Massena Exhibition Center in Barrytown, NY. The performances kick off at Olin Hall on July 10 at 7 PM, with an opening reception at Massena on July 11 from 1-4 PM. The exhibition runs until July 20, 2026. Mike Curran, the exhibition coordinator and a 2026 CCS Bard grad, emphasizes how the projects push artistic boundaries and rethink societal narratives. This year also celebrates the program's 45th anniversary.
