Bar Blondie: A Midcentury-Style Salon for Creatives Opens in Queen's Park

Bar Blondie has launched at 19-21 Lonsdale Road, Queen's Park, London, showcasing a blend of midcentury aesthetics and country-and-western themes. The establishment was created by sommelier Alexandra Price and restaurateur Elliot Milne, with interiors crafted by Macaulay Sinclair and art selected by Ryan Stanier. This 45-seat venue features a stained sapele bar, vintage chrome seating, and Velours Faon banquettes from Nobilis Paris. A Murano glass chandelier illuminates the space, while a curated vinyl sound system enhances the atmosphere. Notable artworks include Lucy Robson's 'As Above, So Below' and spaghetti-western posters. The culinary offerings, overseen by chefs Alastair Walling and Alexander Busca, include snacks, pasta, and grilled items, complemented by a wine list inspired by artistic personalities. The name 'Blondie' nods to Clint Eastwood's role in 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.'
