Bang & Olufsen Opens Immersive Exhibit in Copenhagen

In Copenhagen, Bang & Olufsen has introduced 'The Residence of Beautiful Sound,' a four-room exhibition that examines the interplay between the brand's design legacy and modern craftsmanship. The showcase includes cherished classics and custom listening spaces created through the Bang & Olufsen Atelier program, along with partnerships with three Japanese artisans: Gyokusendo (copper), Nao Washi (paper), and Karimoku (furniture). Meanwhile, Yinka Ilori's inaugural solo exhibition, 'Joy Through Resistance, He Who Laughs Last, Laughs Best,' is on view at Cristea Roberts Gallery in London until July 11, where he addresses grief and joy following his mother's passing. Additionally, Zaha Hadid Architects has rebranded to ZHA after a U.K. Court of Appeal decision ended a trademark licensing deal with the Zaha Hadid Foundation. In Lagos, curator Ugoma Chinelo Ebilah has repurposed a 1960s residence into Mbari Kola: The Arts Society, a Pan-African cultural hub. Other highlights include Mongolia's first ultra-luxury hotel, Ayan Zalaat, opening in a UNESCO reserve; Louise Trotter's revamped Bottega Veneta gondola clog; a limited-edition lamp and turntable by Fritz Hansen and Technics; and Rosalía's North American Lux tour featuring designs by Jonathan Anderson for Dior.
