Balzar Arquitectos Renovates 1890 Apartment in Valencia's Historic Center

Balzar Arquitectos has completed the renovation of Apartamento Ciutat Vella, a 200 m² apartment in Valencia's historic Ciutat Vella district. Located in a building dating from 1890, the project preserves the historical identity while adapting to contemporary living. The interior design was executed by Nekonato Gallery, with photography by David Zarzoso. The project team includes Txema García Ballester and Laura Moreno Albuixech as leadership, and Javier Fabado Saucedo in design. Suppliers include Ferm Living and Arketipo. The apartment sits within Valencia's compact urban fabric, where over two thousand years of Roman, medieval, and modernist heritage coexist with modern life. The project was completed in 2025.
