Ballet of the Masses: Soccer Balls as Art at Sabine Street Studio
The South Gallery of Sabine Street Studio in Houston is hosting "Ballet of the Masses," a citywide exhibition curated by Glenn Davis, from May 21 to July 25, 2026. More than 40 artists from Houston have creatively transformed regulation-sized soccer balls into artistic pieces, which are displayed in an aerial installation hanging from the ceiling. This exhibition aligns with Houston's status as a host city for the FIFA 2026 World Cup. Notable artists include Stephen J. Smith, Ruby Pinedo, and many others.
