Bahār Residential Building by DIM Architecture Studio in Mashhad

DIM Architecture Studio has completed the Bahār Residential Building, a mid-rise infill project in Mashhad, Iran. Designed by lead architects Azadeh Khorram, Hiwa Ebne Abbas, and Amirhosein Davatgar, the 2500 m² building sits on a 550-sqm site within a dense urban fabric. The project challenges conventional apartment layouts by reintroducing spatial hierarchy and openness inspired by historical Iranian residences, particularly the courtyard and the "Hashti" transitional space. The design team included Nima Ghasemzadeh and Behrad Rahimian, with technical input from Maryam Jaberi. Rost Furniture supplied products. Photographs were taken by Mohammad Hassan Ettefagh.
