B.E.V.I. – L'Arte del Vinificare Reaches Friuli with Casanova Episode on Sky Arte
The fifth season of the docu-series B.E.V.I. – L'Arte del Vinificare travels across Italy documenting stories in which wine culture intersects with art, architecture and design. A new episode, titled Un brindisi con Casanova, premieres on Sky Arte on Saturday 24 October. The setting is the Collio friulano, described as one of the most fascinating territories in Italian winemaking. At Capriva del Friuli, in the province of Gorizia, the Castello di Spessa holds a history spanning nearly eight centuries and once hosted Giacomo Casanova, whose name supplies the episode's title. Barbara Borraccia, the property's referent, speaks on camera about how wine, hospitality and culture coexist there. The episode moves through the castle's medieval tunnels, historic cellars and vineyards, showing how a historical heritage has been turned into a contemporary hospitality experience.
