AZ Academy's "A Bunch of Designers" Opens in Paris, Showcasing Six Emerging Talents

On a chilly autumn night in the Upper Marais district of Paris, the AZ Academy launched "A Bunch of Designers," a program initiated by the late Alber Elbaz. Held at Heureux Les Curieux on Rue du Pont aux Choux, this event wraps up a year-long initiative designed to support budding designers in creating and promoting their first capsule collections during Paris Fashion Week. The first cohort includes graduates like Brais Albor from Milan (menswear), Caterina Moro from Rome (womenswear), Liwen Liang (garments from traditional Chinese porcelain), Manon Marcelot (leather accessories), Merle Breuker from Germany (womenswear), and Sandra Jao from Tokyo (womenswear). Lutz Huelle, a previous mentor at AZ Factory, displayed designs inspired by autumn’s earthy colors, while Patrick Ferrand from Richemont emphasized the program's goal of connecting young creatives with industry leaders. This event, featuring various creative installations, will be up until October 17th, showcasing a portrait of Elbaz alongside his saying, "Love Brings Love."
