Aya Fujioka's "Forget Me Not" at Art Center BUG Explores Postwar Migration and Found Photographs
Art Center BUG, under Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., is set to unveil Aya Fujioka's solo exhibition "Forget Me Not" on October 14, 2026, in Tokyo. The showcase will feature a new series inspired by a message from a Melbourne woman about a Japanese individual named Kimiko Fujioka, linking Fujioka's origins in Hiroshima's Kure with Melbourne's postwar narrative and women's stories. Highlighting her first video art piece created over three years, the exhibit will also include "found photographs" from a private collection. The exhibition runs until November 29, 2026, with closures on Tuesdays and November 8.
