AUX Architecture Completes Glorya Kaufman Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles

AUX Architecture designed the Glorya Kaufman Performing Arts Center, a 10,550-square-meter educational facility in Los Angeles, United States, completed in 2021. The project was curated by Paula Pintos, with Brian Wickersham leading the design and Sabina Lira managing it. Senior associate Matthew Aulicino, project architect Sean McCusker, and project manager Taylor Nunes-Agins contributed to the development. Photographer Nic Lehoux documented the building, which serves Vista Del Mar, a nonprofit founded in 1908 that provides trauma-informed services for children and families in Southern California. Numerous suppliers, including Kohler, Porcelanosa Grupo, and Sherwin-Williams, provided materials for the construction. The center represents a modern architectural addition to the community, supporting arts and social services.
