Aunt Val's House by Márcio Flávio Motta in Juiz de Fora

Aunt Val's House, a residential project by architect Márcio Flávio Motta, has been completed in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. The 400 m² house is located in the mountainous 'upper city' at an elevation of 900 meters, featuring a highland tropical climate. The project team includes Arqliq, Lucca Brigatto, and Bernardo Barcellos, with consultants Limonge de Almeida Consultoria e Projetos and Paulo Scafutto. Curated by Susanna Moreira, the house was photographed by André Miguel Coronha. The design responds to its elevated site, integrating with the surrounding landscape.
