Atelier Zafari Completes Mixed-Use Casa Z on Schadowstraße in Berlin-Mitte

Casa Z, a mixed-use residential and commercial building by Atelier Zafari, was completed in March 2026 on Schadowstraße in Berlin-Mitte. The project, spanning 360 m², originated from an invited architecture competition held in 2017. Nina Vuga served as curator, while the design team comprised Sohrab Zafari, Benjamin Dix and Barbara Zofia Grzeszek. Atelier Zafari acted as principal architects and also handled interior design. Photography of the completed building was produced by Jan Bitter and Clemens Poloczek. The scheme is categorized under mixed-use, residential and commercial architecture.
