Atelier Malet renovates historic Barcelona apartment with bold blue and open plan

In Barcelona's Gràcia neighborhood, Atelier Malet has transformed a historic apartment spanning 170 square meters on Gran de Gràcia street. This renovation creates a bright environment enhanced by deep petroleum blue accents on the kitchen cabinetry and a bespoke library. A beautifully restored marble floor from the 18th-19th century greets visitors in the entrance hall. The design cleverly distinguishes the sleeping quarters from the open living area, marked by furniture and a black steel beam. An interior terrace with a garden is linked by three expansive semicircular arches. The kitchen boasts a Carrara countertop, while the master suite includes a gray lead headboard and a black Marquina marble bathroom.
