Ashjar Cafe by Studio Ahmed Aldossary Opens in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Studio Ahmed Aldossary has completed Ashjar Cafe, a 785 m² project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, slated for 2025. Curated by Miwa Negoro, the cafe is conceived as a small urban escape shaped by gardens, water, and shade. The design team includes lead architect Ahmed Aldossary, landscape architecture by Alnaimi Landscape Architecture, and interior design by Ashjar Team. Photography is by Aylul Studio. The project responds to the growing coffee culture in Saudi Arabia, where cafes have become an important "third place" for many Saudis. Ashjar, meaning "trees" in Arabic, reflects the integration of natural elements into the urban environment.
