ArtReview and Ursula host talk with Jayden Ali and Simone Brewster in Mayfair

ArtReview and Ursula magazine will host a conversation between architect Jayden Ali and artist Simone Brewster on Tuesday 9 June at the Wine Bar underneath the Farm Shop in London's Mayfair. The event is part of a monthly talk series featuring intimate discussions with visionaries from art, design, architecture, and philosophy. Tickets are £14 and include a welcome drink and copies of both magazines. Jayden Ali is the founding director of JA Projects, a London Mayor's Design Advocate, and Dean's Visiting Professor at Columbia University. His recent projects include 'MATTER and SHAPE' (2026) in Paris and 'Why We Make Galleries' (2026) at V&A East Museum. Simone Brewster, trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture and the Royal College of Art, creates 'intimate architectures' exploring identity and cultural memory. In 2026 she headlines Platform at the Design Museum in London. Her work is in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London Museum, Walker Art Gallery, and the Smithsonian Institution.
