Artizar Madrid Presents Group Exhibition 'De la tierra al asfalto'

Artizar Madrid's new group exhibition, 'De la tierra al asfalto,' curated by Inés Alonso Jarabo, brings together five artists: Marco Alom, Luna Bengoechea, Laura Mesa, Paula Valdeón, and Victoria Valiente. The show runs from June 19 to August 1, 2026, at the gallery's Madrid location. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation, the artists explore the contemporary relationship between nature, urbanization, and perception. The exhibition's symbolic journey 'from earth to asphalt' serves as a metaphor for social, ecological, and cultural transformation. Alom examines myths and cultural narratives; Bengoechea critiques food production models; Mesa investigates tensions between reality and representation; Valdeón reworks urban decorative patterns; and Valiente observes water as a space of memory and change. The collective presents a critical view of how we inhabit and represent our environment, questioning boundaries between nature, artifice, and contemporary experience.
