Arte Abierto Baja: New Open-Air Gallery in Los Cabos by Sordo Madaleno

A new public art gallery, Arte Abierto Baja, has been inaugurated in Los Cabos, Mexico, situated within the Ánima Village development. This open-air space, spanning 180 square meters and designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, aims to create a dialogue between artists from Mexico and abroad and the surrounding Baja California Sur environment. Curated by Valentina Díaz, it is part of the Arte Abierto initiative, which promotes accessible contemporary art. The architectural team consists of Javier Sordo Madaleno Bringas, Javier Sordo Madaleno de Haro, and Fernando Sordo Madaleno de Haro, alongside various engineering and design professionals. Developed by SOMA, the gallery will enrich Los Cabos' cultural scene and is expected to be completed in 2025. Photographers Pablo Manjarrez and Ariadna Polo captured the images.
