Art Gallery of Western Australia Opens SWANA Photography Exhibition in Perth
The Art Gallery of Western Australia in Perth is currently presenting an exhibition entitled "No Night is Long Enough for Us to Dream Twice," curated by Dalia Al-Dujaili and Rachel Cieśla. This event, which draws inspiration from Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, will remain open until January 31, 2027. Al-Dujaili’s focus is on more than just the impact of war, while Cieśla explores themes of "documentary futurity." Among the featured works is "Rotting from Within" by Abdulhamid Kircher (2026), alongside contributions from artists representing Algeria, Iran, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and Türkiye, complemented by visual displays and an accompanying book.
