Armory Show 2026: Caribbean Focus, Performance, and After Hours at Javits Center
Scheduled for September 24–27 at the Javits Center in New York, The Armory Show's 2026 edition will be part of Armory Week, focusing on the Caribbean. This year marks the tenth iteration of Platform, titled 'Passages and Thresholds,' under the curation of Jovanna Venegas, showcasing artists like Bony Ramirez, Lucia Hierro, and María Magdalena Campos-Pons. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, AIRIE.Foundation presents 'Ancestral Currents' by Ania Freer and Cornelius Tulloch. Featured installations include Sonya Clark's 'Edifice & Mortar' and Kaloki Nyamai's 'Tusukane.' Performances will highlight Tavares Strachan's 'Special Blue: Act I.' Additionally, Armory After Hours will debut on September 25, alongside collaborations with Vote.org and talks from September 25–27, plus new acquisition awards.
