Arianna Pace Wins Premio Ermanno Casoli, Unveils 'Avere fame di vento' at EMC FIME
Arianna Pace, a 1995 native of Pesaro, has been awarded the XXIV Premio Ermanno Casoli. Her installation, titled Avere fame di vento, is set to debut on 10 October 2026 at EMC FIME in Castelfidardo during the twenty-second Giornata del Contemporaneo. Curated by Marcello Smarrelli, this piece integrates Pace's artistic exploration with the region's industrial backdrop and craftsmanship, utilizing air as a thematic link. The installation comprises two walls that converge in a garden, featuring a ceramic sculpture that produces sound as visitors move by. Workshops involved thirty-two EMC FIME employees, who recorded breaths and crafted a soundscape incorporating mechanical sounds. Collaborators include the Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino and Liceo Artistico Mengaroni di Pesaro.
