On Wednesday night, Argent, a workwear brand, celebrated its tenth anniversary with a Work Friends dinner at Marcel uptown, attended by notable figures including Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, Huma Abedin, and Katie Couric. The founder, Sali Christeson, initiated the "10 Years, 100 Work Friends" campaign, showcasing a collage of the brand's community. Since its inception, Argent, primarily designed and produced in New York City, has dressed prominent individuals like Kamala Harris and Gloria Steinem, and has maintained ties with Clinton since 2017, when Christeson first met her post-election. Abedin was instrumental in introducing Clinton to the brand. The event was underwritten by Kristin Kallergis Rowland from J.P. Morgan Global Head of Alternative Investments, and guests received handwritten notes in wax-sealed envelopes, creating a relaxed and playful atmosphere, with attendees such as Chloe Fineman and Rennae Stubbs.
