ARE ARCHITECTS STUDIO Completes 190 m² Cabreira House in Portugal

Completed in 2020, the Cabreira House is a 190 m² residential project in Portugal by ARE ARCHITECTS STUDIO. The design responds to a strict regulatory framework governing a suburban subdivision, including defined setbacks and property lines. To the south, an organic eucalyptus forest flanks the plot, while the late afternoon sun provides long, deep light and the coastal landscape stretches in distant horizontality. Hélder Oliveira photographed the house, and Tintas Marilina supplied products used in the project. Rui Rodrigues and Rosa Macedo led coordination, with a project team comprising Hélder Oliveira, Ewelina Omolecka, Nadja Guimarães, and Gaspar Vieira. Solução Estável provided civil engineering and consulting. The project falls under the Residential Architecture, Houses category and was curated by Susanna Moreira for ArchDaily, which published both English and Portuguese versions.
