ArchDaily Announces Winners of Inaugural Student Project Awards

ArchDaily launched its first Student Project Awards in November 2025, motivated by confidence in emerging architectural talent and the need to provide visibility for those shaping the field's future. The open call received a remarkable global response with submissions from every continent, demonstrating a wealth of diverse perspectives and solutions. After five months, an external jury of architects and professionals reviewed proposals, first announcing a longlist of 104 projects, then a shortlist of 20. The jury carefully evaluated each entry, looking beyond final results to focus on the underlying ideas, questions, and positions driving the work. Their selection process resulted in three winners and four honorable mentions. These awarded projects reflect both the spirit of the awards and the shifting priorities currently influencing contemporary architecture.
