Arash Nassiri's 'Night Mode' at Fondation Pernod Ricard

Fondation Pernod Ricard in Paris presents 'Night Mode', the first large-scale solo exhibition in a French institution for French-Iranian artist Arash Nassiri. The show features new sculptures and a video titled 'A Bug's Life' (2026), co-produced with Chisenhale Gallery in London, where it was on view from January to March 2026. The exhibition explores themes of migration and disorientation through assemblage and conceptual associations. Nassiri, born in Tehran in 1986, spent his early years in Lignon near Geneva and now lives in Berlin. His film 'A Bug's Life' is an immersive installation depicting a bug-puppet exploring a luxurious villa in Beverly Hills, designed by Iranian architect Hamid Omrani. Omrani's 'Persian Palaces' were outlawed by Los Angeles in 2004, and most have been demolished; the villa in the film is one of the last remaining. Curated by Franck Balland, the exhibition runs until July 18, 2026.
