AQMA completes mixed-use social housing in Nanterre

AQMA has completed a mixed-use building in Nanterre, France, at the entrance to the Les Groues neighborhood. The project integrates 43 social housing units and flexible office spaces (ERP) within a single architectural composition, located at the interface between La Défense, the future Grand Paris Express station, and a major university hub. The building is part of the FOCD block alongside residential and educational programs. The 5,900 m² project was completed in 2025, with Matthias Aguilar as lead architect. The design team included Amandine Quillent, Agnès Rigault, Camillo Morini, and Ambrine Rachidi. Structural engineering was by Khephren, acoustics by AVLS, MEP by AB environnement, environmental engineering by LeSommer, and landscaping by MUGO. Materials were supplied by Serge Ferrari.
