Apple's Designers of Tomorrow 2026 at Design Miami Paris Explores 'Design for Presence'

exhibition · 2026-06-02

From October 21 to 25, 2026, Design Miami Paris will feature four innovative design practices presenting newly commissioned pieces in the Designers of Tomorrow showcase, curated by Rodman Primack and sponsored by Apple. The event, themed Design for Presence, will take place at Hôtel de Maisons, located at 51 rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris. The selected designers are Salem S. Charabi, Isabel Rower, Yoonjeong Lee, and the duo Parafernalia, consisting of Genki Matsumura and Sebastián Zorrilla, all utilizing Apple tools. A jury, including Molly Anderson from Apple, chose the participants. Charabi’s lantern incorporates date palm fronds and limestone, while Rower’s chair is adorned with 1,500 ceramic beads, Lee’s table combines a lamp with veneer sheets, and Parafernalia’s MonoAmbiente 1 features a foldout table and stools. Primack highlighted the unexpected qualities of exceptional design.
