Apparatus to Open Miami Showroom in 2027; Cotillard to Lead Marrakech Jury; Van Gogh Museum Gets Renovation Funding
In February 2027, Apparatus, co-founded by Gabriel Hendifar, is set to unveil a showroom in Miami's arts and design district, drawn by the vibrant creative scene. This announcement follows the debut of "Act V: Afsaneh," Hendifar's first collection in five years, showcased at the London showroom. The collection, inspired by his family's emigration during the 1979 Iranian Revolution, delves into themes of resilience through a feminine perspective and includes four series crafted from materials such as lacquer and glass. Additionally, Marion Cotillard will chair the jury at the 23rd Marrakech Film Festival from November 20 to 28. The Dutch government has reached a funding agreement with the Van Gogh Museum, allowing renovations to commence in autumn 2028. Furthermore, two stolen Renoir paintings have been recovered in France, leading to six arrests.
