Anthony Daley's 'Resonance' Brings Colour-Driven Paintings to Varvara Roza Galleries, London
From November 10 to 28, 2026, Varvara Roza Galleries, located at 8 Duke Street in St James's, London, will present 'Resonance,' a solo showcase of new paintings by British artist Anthony Daley, who was born in Jamaica. Curated by Isabel de Vasconcellos, the exhibition will highlight works created between 2023 and 2025, focusing on vibrant colors and the relationship between figuration and abstraction. Daley's artistic journey has been influenced by Dutch and Italian Masters, a theme he previously explored in the 'Son of Rubens' exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery (2022–2023). A graduate of Chelsea School of Art, Daley's works are part of collections at Tate and the National Portrait Gallery. Isabel de Vasconcellos is a curator and writer based in London, and Varvara Roza oversees the gallery.
