andstudio's Mostai Padel Club Identity Channels 1970s Mediterranean Leisure

The visual identity for Mostai, a padel club, was crafted by andstudio, inspired by a Mediterranean style from the 1970s. The color scheme—tomato red, marigold yellow, deep court green, and clay orange—harks back to the game's roots in 1960s Mexico and its rise in popularity on Spain's Costa del Sol during the 1970s. The wordmark showcases bold, compact letters, with the M's strokes extending to resemble a racket in motion. Typography evokes vintage postcards and tournament advertisements, featuring condensed headlines set against vibrant color backgrounds. Phrases like 'PLAY. CHAT. RECHARGE.' appear in white on blue, while 'the court for your aspirations' is presented in brown on marigold. The branding is applied to court signage, posters, t-shirts, a drinks menu, juice bottles, enamel pins, keychains, and the club's earthy interior design. One t-shirt states, 'shaped in Spain, played in Vilnius.' The club provides courts, a children's academy, physiotherapy, film nights, and tasting dinners. Mostai is a relaxed Lithuanian term for a racket swing.
